EXPERIENCE

TURNING

COMPLEXITY
INTO CLARITY

User Experience Designer

Visual Interaction Designer

I believe the best products must be intuitive, inclusive, and beautiful—all at once. That conviction has anchored my journey over the last decade, where I have navigated visual design, branding, UX, and product strategy to shape digital experiences used by millions. I thrive at the intersection of pedagogy and high-impact digital design, where the goal is always to turn complexity into clarity.

At Age of Learning, I lead UX strategy for educational games that serve millions of students. My work bridges the gap between curriculum requirements and engaging, scalable player experiences. I lead end-to-end design for 20+ products, consistently achieving #1 rankings in user testing. A core focus has been scaling high-traffic web platforms—including the ABCmouse game page—where I optimized navigation for millions of monthly visitors. I also spearheaded a strategic redesign of our parental dashboard, simplifying complex workflows and driving a 45% increase in user engagement. Beyond individual products, I am deeply committed to design maturity; I standardized our ecosystem by architecting a library of 100+ reusable UI assets, ensuring a cohesive design language across our entire suite.

Previously, I designed interactive learning experiences for the ABCmouse.com platform, where I translated data from 60+ user testing sessions into refined, accessible interfaces. My background as a freelance designer and my earlier tenure in graphic design management provided me with a foundation in branding and visual systems that continues to inform my holistic approach today. I stay close to the work, partnering across disciplines—from engineering to curriculum specialists—to ensure that what we build is not only beautiful but fundamentally effective for the user.

EDUCATION

My journey into design began at nine years old, inspired by my first painting teacher—a graphic designer who showed me that creativity could become a career. I went on to study graphic design in high school, earn a BFA in Illustration and Painting from the University of Tehran—where I was honored as the top student in my commencement class—and later complete an MFA in Animation and Motion Media Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design through a fellowship. Throughout my education, I worked professionally, believing that real-world experience is where design truly comes to life.

EXPERIMENT

I am constantly looking for the next thing worth making. Currently, I am focused on:

  • Systems Thinking: Architecting design systems that enable teams to scale craft without sacrificing quality.

  • Workflow Optimization: Exploring how to automate repetitive design tasks so that cross-functional teams can focus on high-judgment, creative problem solving.

  • Collaborative Innovation: Whether it's through product discovery or interaction modeling, I am always seeking new ways to bridge the gap between business goals and user needs.

I’m always open to talking about a creative project or an idea that pushes the boundaries of how we design for education and beyond. Let's do it!
